Amenity management, District Management, District Counsel and the Chairman of the Board have been working together to make decisions regarding the well being of Lakeside Plantation residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.  In order to stop the spread of the virus, effective at 5PM this evening, the District’s amenities will be closed for two weeks (clubhouse, pools, fitness center, basketball, tennis, bocce court, picnic area, playground, library etc.).  This serious response is due to new federal government guidelines that encourage extreme social distancing and suggest people avoid groups of 10 or more people.  The status of the facilities will be evaluated as more information becomes available.
Please note that in the event the elections March 17 are not cancelled, the clubhouse will continue to serve a a polling location, but the office and amenities will remained closed.
